Return & Refund Policy
Interamerican Tech Corp would like to help you resolve a purchase problem as quickly and easily as possible. Provided you meet the terms and conditions listed below, you may make an exchange or return. Please note that not all items are covered by our returns policy. We suggest you read the complete returns policy before you make your purchase.

If you are in receipt of an item that is defective, the item must be returned to us within 7 days of the buyer's receipt of defective merchandise. Once the item has been received and is, in fact, deemed defective by our Returns Department, will arrange for repair or replacement of a defective item. If the item is found to be defective under the terms of the manufacturer's warranty, no charge will be made for service.

Any return for defect found not to be defective when tested will incur a return freight charge. This charge will be billed to the credit card used on the original order.

If part of a product is defective, please return the whole product, including all manuals and accessories, in the original packaging. We do not stock all our items in one location and therefore we need to return the entire defective product to the manufacturer for a complete replacement.

You may obtain an advanced replacement by calling us. We will require a credit card and we will charge you for the item. When the returned item has been received and evaluated, we will refund your money provided the item is found defective.

All products being returned must be shipped PREPAID to the designated return location (buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges).

When returning products, you have to use of a carrier that can track packages. You also assume responsibility for insuring the returned item.

Please, note you assume responsibility for the packing of items to return – any damage will void your right to return the item.

All exchanges and returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We will refuse all returns without an RMA.

An RMA must be requested within 30 days after received the products. After 30 days, this policy becomes null and void.

The returns package must be received within 7 business days of the RMA issued date.

Please write the RMA number on clearly visibly on the outside of the shipping box before returning it to Interamerican Tech Corp, or risk being refused.

Items inadvertently accepted with insufficient packaging will be inspected and if found to not meet packing specifications, warranty will be VOIDED and item returned to you at your request.

Returns may take up to one week to be processed through our Returns Department.

All incomplete items or information that does not match the RMA form will be returned back to the customer at their expense. We will charge additional fees on packages being returned to us due to an undeliverable address or Customer Refusal.

All products are sold with their respective manufacturer’s warranties. Please note that warranty periods and their warranty policy.

All electronic components that are not installed and secured in a metal or plastic indoor or outdoor enclosure MUST be returned in anti-static bags. If item is failed to be returned in propper antistatic packaging all warranty will be VOID with NO exceptions.

All electronic components are ALWAYS shipped in anti-static bags unless they have been securely installed in a metal or plastic enclosure. If you no longer have the original anti-static bag that your product was shipped in or you choose to remove it from the enclosure, Ìnteramerican tech Corp urges you to try to contact a local computer store, Ham radio store or Radioshack which generally will have these and often will provide these to you free of charge or at minimal cost. If you can not find one locally please contact Interamerican Tech Corp and we will gladly send you out as many bags as you require for your RMA for a minimal fee.

All sales of mini-PCI cards, OEM modules, pigtails, connectors, VOIP phones, and other products as may be noted on the respective product pages, are considered final and may be returned for repair or replacement only if they are found to be defective out of the box. Manufacturer’s warranty may apply to these items.

Our return department inspects each and every products that has been returned. We reserve the right to refuse refuns and/or echanges of any and all returned items if one or more of the following has occureed: Obvious Wear & Tear such as scratches, dents, water damage, or abuse on any merchandise; kinks or cuts in cables; tears and holes in material items; scratches on headsets and/or intercoms. Any and all size adjustments such as helmets; products that have been used, custom fit and/or altered, etc. Dirt, sand, sun and/or water damage, etc. Obvious odors such as cigarette smoke, perfume or colognes, etc. Protective Packaging or original packaging that has been defaced in any manner, or is absent upon return. Related warranty paperwork, mounting hardware, inserts, attached coupons and/or instructions pamphlets are absent.

Product that is custom configured to your specifications, including personalized products. Opened memory, including storage devices such as memory sticks (but excluding disc drives). Opened software (Note that you may return software after rejecting the licensing terms, provided the software is not installed on a computer. However, if your software includes a license that you can read before you break the seal or sticker on the software media packaging, you may not return the software once you break the software media packaging seal or sticker). Electronic software downloads.

Software and licenses are non-returnable, non-refundable and non-transferrable. Once a license is issued by the manufacturer, they will not credit it back to you and we are not able to credit you as well. Therefore, know what you are buying is correct before you make a software or license purchase.

Fiber Optic Equipment: We cannot accept returns of any fiber related products if the original manufacturer's seal is broken. This applies to fiber cables/jumpers and optical interface SFP's.

Shipping charges are non-refundable, no exceptions.

If the return shipping fees are NOT included with the merchandise being returned for exchange, your credit card on file WILL be charged the required fees to process the exchange.

All items MUST be returned in "as new" condition in the original packaging and include all accessories, blank warranty cards, UPC codes (attached), and user manuals, resalable condition as clearly stated above.

Returns for credit or exchange must be received by the Interamerican Tech Corp. Logistic Department within 30 days of the original invoice date unless otherwise specified on the website for a particular product. Beyond this period, product may only be exchanged/repaired if currently under warranty.

Credit will not be given on special orders for any reason.

Discontinued Products, these items, clearly marked as discontinued, are not eligible for return or exchange. All items MUST be returned in "as new" condition in the original packaging and include all accessories, blank warranty cards, UPC codes (attached), and user manuals, resalable condition as clearly stated above.

A refund will be remitted to you via your credit card account, paypal or via company check for the merchandise amount minus a 25% restocking fee. Original shipping fees will not be refunded. If you had received free shipping on your original order, you will be refunded the merchandise amount minus our shipping/handling costs.

A refund confirmation email will be sent to you. Free promotional merchandise associated with your purchase must be included with your return, or we reserve the right to charge your credit card account for the full retail fee of the promotional item. All promotional items must be returned in original, brand-new condition as stated above.

All refunds will be credited at lesser of current market value or purchase price.
Warranty

Defective returns will be accepted for exchange or repair, at our discretion, within 30 days from the shipment date. No refunds or credit will be granted after 30 days. ITC makes no warranties whatsoever on any products it does not manufacture and passes through any manufacturer warranties issued for the products it represents.

Unless advertised otherwise, hardware is warrantied for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Interamerican tech Corp will return the repaired product to the customer, within the continental United States, using the carrier and service level of Interamerican tech Corp choice, at no charge. Expedited shipping methods, international shipping costs, and customs fees and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. For non-warranty returns, the customer is responsible for all related shipping costs.

Warranty returns are subject to the individual manufacturer's warranty return policy. Warranties vary by manufacturer.

Customer agrees to consult the manufacturer of the product purchased regarding their warranty policy prior to contacting ITC.

If the Product purchased is determined to be within the manufacturers' warranty policy ITC may assist in obtaining warranty service. If Customer has trouble obtaining warranty service from the manufacture, contact ITC for individual manufacture warranty procedures.
International Warranty information
Warranty coverage for the majority of items we sell is valid only in the USA. Freight charges to return items for warranty service, as well as the return shipping back to your international location is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Limited Warranties

Appropriate Use – Selection of product, its installation and use are the sole responsibility of the customer. Interamerican Tech Corp provides no skill or judgment related to the application of the products it sells.

Manufacturer-labeled warranty – Interamerican Tech Corp sells the products of reputable manufacturers under their respective brand or trade names. Interamerican Tech Corp makes no express or implied warranty as to such goods. Customer remedies for defects of goods are subject to any limitations contained in their manufacturer's terms and conditions to Intermaiercan Tech Corp and the provisions of the manufacturer's warranty, either or both of which will be furnished upon request. Interamerican Tech Corp is not responsible for any warranty-related issues.

Interamericvan Tech Corp-labeled warranty – Interamerican Tech Corp warrants the product sold under its name to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of invoice. This warranty does not apply to products that: are opened, altered, or defaced; are not used in accordance with instructions and the normal intended use; or require replacement due to normal use, natural disaster, rust or corrosion, lightning strike, power surge, physical damage to internal or external parts. Defective items may be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of Interamerican Tech Corp.

Warranty does NOT cover direct or indirect lightning damages such as common surge damages.

In no event shall Interamerican Tech Corp be liable for any consequenta, incidental, specil, indirect or punitive damage of any kind or nature alledged to have resulted from any breach of warranty. Interamrican tech Corp does not warrant the merchantability of the products or their fitness for any particular purpose.
Please Include the Following with All Returned Items

The merchandise in its original, brand-new condition with all related paperwork and packaging. A copy of your order invoice. Return Form with a short but precise note listing the reason(s) for the return and/or exchange.

For your protection, we recommend using a reputable carrier to ship and insure your package. We are not responsible in any manner for lost or damaged merchandise that has been shipped to us. Please retain your shipping receipt.

Please considering using a non-permanent means of marking units or boxes as defective. Markings on the box will render an item non-returnable.

Some things to check before returning an item:

MikroTik: Attempt a factory reset by holding the reset switch down for 10 seconds immediately after powering up. Check routerboard.com for specific instructions for your particular router.

MikroTik: Attempt a NetInstall following the instructions on the MikroTik wiki at http://wiki.mikrotik.com.

MikroTik: Make sure you are accessing the unit from the non-POE port. Many default configurations include firewalls that will make the unit invisible on the ether1 port for multi port devices.

Ubiquiti: After the unit is fully booted, hold down the reset switch for 10 seconds to reset it to factory defaults. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to reconfigure it.
